Situated within a conservation area, this residential development aimed to complement the scale and character of its setting. The resulting design formed two blocks of two and three-bedroomed flats, the smaller of which lay adjacent to the main road and adjoined two-storey Victorian terraced houses, while the rear block rose to three-storeys behind a landscaped courtyard. Living-rooms and main bedrooms were designed with bay windows and careful attention was given to the aspect of each of the principal rooms. Solid masonry construction was used throughout to provide exceptional acoustic rating and generous floor to ceiling heights.
