After many years of local debate, this clubhouse was built on St Andrews Links, a unique site in an area of great landscape value. Constructed using Clashach stone and Westmorland green slate, the building is visible from all sides and sits partially below ground level, overlooking the 2nd and 17th holes of the famous Old Course. It provides facilities for both golfers and visitors, including changing-rooms, golf services, a bar and dining room, together with a roof-garden and viewing-terrace.
