This project will involve comprehensive upgrading and alterations to the existing facilities
at Troon. The original building, dating from 1886, is to be retained, while a 1970s addition
will be replaced with new accommodation, which fits around the original building fabric.
This enables circulation routes to be rationalised and allows for the provision of improved
changing, kitchen and staff facilities together with an impressive new east-facing entrance,
detailed to replicate the original stonework.
