Originally designed by a Glaswegian Architect, James Milne Munro, and built in 1895 as The Grand Hotel, this notable, seven-storey building occupies a prominent corner overlooking the Old Course and offers extensive views across the 1st and 18th to the coast beyond.

The project will transform the present university halls of residence through the creation of an exclusive residential club. The club will contain 23 apartments, reception, clubroom and dining room. The health spa and golf-related activities will be located on the ground and basement floors.
