The Practice have been Fabric Architects to the Royal Society of Edinburgh since the early
1980’s carrying out works to their buildings at 22-24 George Street, a Grade A listed building
designed by David Bryce in 1867. We also carried out major alteration works to No. 26 George Street
to accommodate the Society’s expansion programme to the former Commercial Union Building designed in
1901 by Dick Peddie. The work involved restoration of the principal rooms and adaptation to form
function suites and exhibition space with ancillary accommodation.
