Brian has responsibility for the practice’s design output and has managed many major contracts. Under his direction the practice has won several important architectural competitions. In his 15 years with Hurd Rolland, he has worked on a wide range of major projects including offices, housing, leisure and several national historic buildings.

Brian will control the design of the project from concept to completion and the work of the design team, ensuring that the original aims of the design are maintained at all stages. He has a wealth of experience in establishing the key issues within a project, translating these into a brief and then design. He is also keenly aware of the need to develop pragmatic business solutions satisfying client requirements and using innovative design solutions frequently exceeding client expectation.
