This project involved the creation of an extension to an existing family owned and operated Grade A listed, 5 star country house hotel. The scheme provided new function facilities including a large ballroom and orangerie. The new elements incorporate traditional materials and detailing to complement the existing house. The first phase of a planned series of improvements to the hotel, this project required detailed negotiation with Planning and Historic Environment Scotland and careful navigation through that process to achieve a successful outcome.
