St Andrews Links Clubhouse

An important sporting addition to a very famous and important site.

This clubhouse was built on the St Andrews Links on a spectacular and unique site in an area of great landscape value. Constructed using Clashach stone and Westmorland green slate, the building is visible from all sides and sits partially below ground level, overlooking the 2nd and 17th holes of the famous Old Course.

Completed in time for the 1995 British Open, it provides facilities for both golfers and visitors, including changing-rooms, golf services, a bar and dining room, together with a roof-garden and viewing-terrace.
